fijawsdfaejfsd. I’m generally not one to care about follower count, but wow, I was blown away when I logged into tumblr today and saw 10,000. I just want to say thank you all so much. When I first made my blog, I had no idea that the tumblr weight loss/fitness community was so supportive. It feels amazing to have people who will help you through your problems and celebrate your successes with you. I’ve made some amazing friends on this website and I hope to make more as well. 01/28/12 Intake

Breakfast
Kellogg’s all bran cereal with 1% milk
Orange

Lunch
Steamed broccoli and cauliflower
Fried egg 
Mixed beans with salsa (tasted like chili, yum!) 

Snack
Yogurt 

Supper
A lot of homemade sausage (lean pork)
Chicken and lettuce soup
Cucumbers
Stirfried Chinese sprouts 
Tofu with mixed vegetables

Exercise
Rest day (none) 

Comments
I keep forgetting to eat between lunch and supper. It’s usually a six hour time difference. I’m usually busy in the afternoon, and then the hunger hits full force in the form of a stomachache because I’ve neglected to eat -____-  And then the stomachache persists for an hour or so, even when I do eat. So I have to consciously remember to eat something from now on.
And god. I can’t stop keeping a mental tabulation of the calories I’ve ate. Even though I told myself I was going to eat intuitively, I’ve fallen back to calorie counting. I have to try harder to forget about numbers. I’m sorry for not always being the greatest role model, guys. :(

01/26/12 Intake

Breakfast
2 slices rye bread with strawberry jam

Post-run
Apple with cinnamon

Lunch
Chilled spaghetti with tofu and veggies
1/3 cup cooked spaghetti
Broccoli, green beans, mushrooms, cucumber, a bit of a carrot
Cooked tofu with soy sauce and various other spices

Afternoon snack
Cashews, almonds, and a bit of chocolate chips (I had like 10 mini chocolate chips… but I really have to kill this habit D:)

Supper
Steamed green beans, broccoli, and shrimp
Sandwich - 1 slice rye bread, 1 scrambled egg, spinach, tomato, onion
Salsa
A tiny bit of tofu and other various vegetables

Exercise
60 minute run
30 minute walk
20 minutes of bicep curls

Comments
So today I had the brilliant idea of motivating myself to run. I really wanted to go to the library but I was like “YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO DO THAT UNTIL YOU RUN AN HOUR”. It took me half an hour to run to the library, then I was just aimlessly running laps around it to get another half an hour. So effing boring ;-; At least it wasn’t -50 celcius today… hahaha.
And then on the way home from the library, I was walking with my heavy bag of books. I decided to walk and do bicep curls (with the books) at the SAME TIME. I’M A FUCKING GENIUS. But not really because I looked so dumb walking down the street. But it was super effective and my arms are sore now.
Note to self: lunch was yummy, make again soon.

01/25/12 Intake

Breakfast
2 slices french toast (2 slices rye bread, 1 tbsp milk, 1 egg white, 1/2 tsp sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, cooking spray)

Lunch
Sandwich with ground beans, onions, spinach, cucumbers, and salsa
Boiled green beans
Apple with cinnamon

Supper
Pasta with chicken in a sweet chili sauce
More boiled green beans
A little bit of bok choy/beef/tomato/egg/lotus root/whatever else my dad made

post workout snack
cashews and a bit of chocolate

Exercise
30 minutes walk
This cardio workout
25 minutes abs/arms/butt strength stuff.

Comments
I was FAMISHED by the time supper came around. I didn’t have any snacks in the afternoon because I was at my friend’s house. I was offered a milkshake but I didn’t want any. I should bring an emergency apple with me everywhere. But then I think people would judge me… Oh the pains of sticking to healthy eating.

What I had for lunch today! :) Props to twentyandhealthy for the idea. Thanks everyone for your suggestions too! I will definitely be using a lot of those soon.

01/24/12 Intake

I’m going to start posting my intakes again! :D Hopefully this will be motivation for me to stay on track.

Breakfast
Oatmeal with cinnamon
1/2 slice rye bread
Hard boiled egg

Lunch
Tomato soup
Broccoli and seafood stirfry
Strawberries 

Snack
A few bites of all bran cereal & grapes
Like 1/2 cup of cashews…? Oops. Gotta remember not to eat out of bottomless jar.

Supper
Bell pepper stuffed with chicken, onions, beans, salsa, and sprinkle of skim cheese
Spinach, apple, mandarin, radish, and onion salad

Exercise
40 minute cardio/ab/arm circuit 

Comments
Overall a really good day! :D I almost binged on cashews, but then I reminded myself that it was just a craving and I wasn’t really hungry. I proceeded to go on tumblr and then the craving died.
Oh and I never have salad with dressing anymore… I don’t even like the taste of dressing. After generally eating clean for months, fresh food tastes SO good by itself.  
Ended up with 31+ grams of fiber. I feel so bloated right now. Oh god. At least it’s killed any post-supper cravings… :)
